Anne Bruce - RN, PhD
Anne is an Associate Professor with the School of Nursing at the University of Victoria. Her approach to nursing education embraces a belief that academic preparation makes a difference in serving patients and families competently, compassionately, and justly. Anne believes that scholarship underpins nursing as an academic discipline. Her research interests include cultural constructions of death and dying; contemplative practices in health and nursing education; mindfulness; narratives of living with serious illness; and interpretive inquiry (narrative inquiry, grounded theory, philosophical inquiry).
