Gweneth Hartrick has an interdisciplinary background and several years experience as a health practitioner (having practiced as both a nurse and a psychologist). Her academic work has focused on building the links between research, education and professional practice in health care and in higher education. She is the author of numerous journal articles and book chapters, a co-author of a nursing textbook on relational inquiry and has won four teaching awards including the National 3M teaching fellowship award.
